Donald Macleod (1817-1896) was a son of William and Catherine Macleod, 4 Old Eishken.
In 1831 the family moved to Buanish, later to 1 Caverstay and then to 22 Marvig.
He married Christina Mackay, 1 Old Steimreway. Donald and Christina settled at 22 Marvig and they had three children.
