Alexander Murdo (1895-1954) was a son of Donald Maclennan and Jessie Macmillan, 18 Marvig.
He served in the Seaforth Highlanders in the First World War in France and is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
At Hillhead, in 1926, he married Catherine Macdonald, 43 Breasclete. The couple settled in Glasgow.
