63388: Christina Macdonald
Christina (c1809-1900) was a daughter of Murdo Macdonald and Catherine Macritchie of 2 Kneep.
In 1833 in Uig Christina married Angus Gillies of Uigen. The couple settled initially at 34 North Shawbost where they had at least eight children (Catherine (1835-1927), Donald (1837-1886), William (1840-1921), Angus (1843-1933), Malcolm (1845-1935), Kenneth (1847-1909), Christina (1849-1913) and Ann (1853-1896)).
In 1860 the Gillies family moved to 29 North Shawbost. Christina died in 1900 aged 90.
