62992: Margaret Mackenzie
Margaret Mackenzie (died 1972) was a daughter of George Mackenzie and Mary Macfarlane, 14 Marvig.
In 1919 in Edinburgh she married Donald John Macdonald, 4 Finsbay, Isle of Harris.
Their first child Annie Mary was born in 1920 in Glasgow.
Donald John left for New Jersey in 1922 and Margaret and Annie Mary followed in 1923. Their third daughter, Mary J, was born in 1925.
The family moved to New York where Kenneth was born in 1929, followed by one more child.
Margaret made one visit home to the Isle of Lewis with her son and she died in 1972 in New York.
