Murdo Mackenzie (1818-1894) was a son of Alexander Mackenzie and Christina Maclennan, 14 Marvig.
Murdo was the first tenant of 13 Marvig and in Lochs, in 1843, he married Isabella Macleod, 8 Grimshader. Murdo and Isabella settled at 13 Marvig and they had nine children.
