John (1942-2013) of 7 Maryhill, Stornoway was married to Nora Margaret Campbell Macleod, 11a Marvig in 1962. They had six children.
John was inducted as a Free Church minister in Assynt and Stoer in 1981. John was translated to the Pairc area of the Isle of Lewis in 1984. When he left Gravir he became minister of Gairloch Free Church.
John and Nora lived at Gravir and Gairloch and at the time of his death, John was living at Tore.
