Alexander Macfarlane (1915-1979) was a son of Allan Macfarlane and Margaret Mackenzie, 10 Marvig.
At Hillhead, Glasgow, in 1946, he married Christina Macdonald, 41 Leurbost. Alexander and Christina lived at Shawbost and they had a daughter.
He was a minister in the Free Church, Shawbost. The family later moved to 40b Leurbost.
