Mary (1871-1961) was a daughter of George Macfarlane and Mary Macleod, 10 Marvig.
In Lochs, in 1895, she married her cousin, George Mackenzie, 14 Marvig. Mary and George lived at 14 Marvig and they had at least eight children.
Mary was widowed in 1948 and the family moved to Newmarket, Stornoway around 1960.
