Robert (1907-1967) was a son of John Matheson and Ann Macphail, 25 Gravir.
At Blythswood, Glasgow, in 1930, he married Catherine Morrison of 27 Crossbost. Robert and Catherine settled in Glasgow.
At Hillhead, Glasgow, in 1942, Robert married Mary Morrison, 9b Calbost. Robert and Mary were Cottars at 9b Calbost. The family later moved to Glasgow. Latterly they lived in Drumchapel.
