Janet (born 1821) was a daughter of Malcolm Macarthur and Isabella Finlayson, Cromore. The family may have lived at 13 Cromore.

In Lochs, in 1851, she married Peter Campbell, 5 Marvig. Janet and Peter initially lived with Peter's uncle George at 5 Marvig but had taken over the tenancy by 1851.  The couple had five children.

Janet was widowed in the 1860s.
