Kenneth, born c1847, was the youngest child of Donald and Catherine nee Macinnes who settled at 6 Crulivig. He was married at Grimersta to Margaret nee Mackay (sister of Alexander).

They had issue, including a daughter Catherine Ferguson, b. 14 Sep 1896 at Kintulavig where Kenneth was employed as a shepherd.
