61821: Rev Murdo Martin
Murdo (1919-2007) was the son of Donald Martin and Mary Morrison, 26 Arivruach.
He served as a seaman with the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was engaged in submarine detection in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, India and South Africa.
Murdo became a Free Church minister and was residing in Carrbridge when he married Catherine Maciver, Fasgadh, South Bragar. He preached in Carrbridge and Paisley before retiring to Shawbost.
