6066: Murdo Macleod
Murdo (1896-1929) was a son of Donald Macleod and Margaret Anderson of Grieves House, Keose Glebe. The family moved to 38 Bayhead Street, Stornoway.
Murdo emigrated to Peru in 1914 where he worked as a sheep farmer with Duncan Fox & Company. He moved to Aroya in 1917 and worked for the Cerro de Pasco Copper Company. He was made Smelter General Foreman in 1925, and settled in Aroya.
