5987: Isabella Smith
Isabella Smith (1899-1980), daughter of Angus Smith and Alexanderina Macdonald, Seaview, Keose. Isabella worked in the Post Office, Keose before moving to Glasgow where she worked for a legal firm. She married Neil Macleod, 2 Kershader and returned from Glasgow in 1935 to set up home at Seaside Cottage, Keose where they lived until 1939 before moving to 1 Keose. Bella continued to run the Post Office until 1975 when aged 76, she felt it was time to retire.
