Iain Thormoid Nèill
John (1889-1965) was a son of Norman Nicolson and Catherine Macmillan, 21 Lemreway.
In 1926 he emigrated to Quebec, Canada on the SS Marloch and later to the United States of America.
He married Margaret Anne Morrison of New York, formerly of 57 Keith Street, Stornoway. John and Margaret Ann settled at Elmhurst, Queens, New York and they had at least two children.
John was widowed in 1937 and by the 1940 Census had married a Margaret Graham from Stornoway.
