Catherine (1913-1996) was the daughter of John Kennedy and Margaret Macleod, 24 Gravir.
At Kilmallie, Inverness-shire, in 1939, she married Alexander Montgomery, 2 Garyvard. Catherine and Alexander had three children and at some point the family lived at 24 Gravir as the children attended Gravir School.
The family settled in Kyle of Lochalsh.
