Chirsty, born 1883, was a daughter of John and Ann nee Maciver, who relocated from Croir to 13 Hacklete in 1880. She spent many years as housekeeper at Breaclete Cottage for 'Cally' (Malcolm M. Murray b. 1893 d. 1978), a retired schoolmaster.

She was unmarried.
