Iain Iain Dhòmhnaill
John (1838-1919) was a son of John Mackay and Mary Maciver, 16 Old Gravir. The family moved to 24 Gravir in 1852.
In Lochs, in 1869, he married Isabella Maclennan, 28 Gravir. John and Isabella settled on 28 Gravir and they had seven children. In the late 1870s the family obtained 41 Gravir and the croft were merged and were registered under 28 Gravir.
John was widowed in 1917.
