James (1902-1975) was a son of Malcolm Montgomery and Catherine Macmillan, 58 Balallan. He was married twice. His first wife was Dolina Macinnes, 29 Lemreway and later he married Johanna Graham from 39 North Tolsta.
In 1937 James married Dolina Macinnes of 29 Lemreway. James and Dolina had one son; Dolina died in 1946.
In 1964, at 11 Aulde Castle Road, Inverness, James became the second husband of Johanna Graham, originally of 39 North Tolsta. The couple settled at 4b Achmore, Johanna’s previous marital home.
