Calum Sheumais
Malcolm (1803-1872) was a son of James Montgomery and Mary Smith, 58 Balallan.
In Lochs, in 1831, he married Jane Macleod, 4 Old Eishken and Buanish. Malcolm and Jane were cottars at 4 Old Eishken where they had one of their nine children.
Eishken was cleared in 1835 and the family were removed to 23 Cromore. The family later moved to 5 New Garrabost, Point before settling at Keith Street, Stornoway some time after 1854.
