Mary (born 1893) was a daughter of Norman Paterson and Margaret Macleod who lived at 5 Hacklete before relocating in 1895 to 3 Park Carloway. She married Neil Macaulay (Niall 'an Sheorais) of 4 Hacklete and lived there with him.

Mary died at the birth of their first child; the child also died.
