Kenneth Macdonald

Kenneth Macdonald

Kenneth, born 1929, was a son of John and Margaret nee Macaulay who lived at 19 Hacklete until the late 1930s when they moved to 3 Hacklete - a move Kenneth didn't appreciate as it meant leaving all his friends behind.

He worked as a fisherman for some time before the launch of Alginate Industries at Keose when he teamed up with Finlay Macdonald, 23 Kirkibost to harvest seaweed.

Kenneth, who assumed tenancy of the croft, was unmarried.
