5625: Farquhar Macrae
Farquhar (1848-1913) was a son of Alexander Macrae and Mary Mackenzie, Valtos, Lochs.
In 1883 at Keose, Farquhar married Annabella Mackay of 5 Balallan; the couple had ten children. Farquhar was a gamekeeper at various parts of the parish including Eishken, Torostay and Seaforth Head. He retired to Kenneth Street, Stornoway.
