Norman (1909-1970) was the youngest son of Malcolm Macdonald and Catherine Macdonald, of 16 Tobson and later, 8 Croir. Norman assumed tenancy of the croft and settled there; he married  Chirsty Ann Macdonald of 6 Croir.
