Donald Macdonald

Donald (born 1898) was a son of Angus Macdonald and Catherine Macdonald, 24 Tobson. During the First World War Donald served in the Royal Naval Reserve; in February 1918 the boat he was on was torpedoed.

Donald emigrated to New Zealand in 1925, travelling on the Ruahine (New Zealand Shipping Co. Ltd) which left Southampton on 18 December 1925; he gave 6 Croir as his last address in the United Kingdom.

Donald was married in New Zealand to Constance Cecily (maiden name Macdonald); the couple had two sons.
