Donald Macaulay
Donald (1840-1929) was the son of Murdo Macaulay and Christina Smith of 40 Balallan.
Donald emigrated to Canada in around 1864, and worked as a freight carrier for the Hudson's Bay Company, initially in Manitoba and later in Edmonton, Alberta.
Donald married Mary Elizabeth Norn in Alberta, Canada, and they had twelve children.
Donald died in Weed Creek, Alberta Canada and is buried in Fisherton Cemetery, Pigeon Lake, Alberta, Canada, alongside his wife Mary.
