53892: John Macdonald

John (fl 1740-1810) lived in the parish of Uig. A son of Angus, he was of the family known as ‘na Goilleaganaich’ and he had a son Donald who lived in Carishader (Malcolm his grandson was the first recorded tenant of 6 Carishader).

According to Uig Historical Society this should be a Donald that had a son John who lived in Carishader (Malcolm’s father was certainly named John on his death register)
