53879: Alexander Macdonald
Alexander (1834-1906) was a son of Murdo Macdonald and Annabella Macritchie, 8 Old Orinsay.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 22 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1860, he married Marion Maclean, 3 Leurbost. Alexander and Marion settled on 22 Crossbost and they had three children.
After his father’s death in 1872, the croft was divided, 22a to his brother John and 22b to Alexander.
