Catherine Macleod (1833-1923) was a daughter of Malcolm and Ann Macleod, 2 Old Orinsay.
Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 13 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1861, she married her cousin, Roderick Macleod, 2 Crossbost. Catherine and Roderick lived with Roderick’s parents at 2 Crossbost before they settled at 33 Crossbost. The couple had five children.
