Murdo Macinnes (1766-1845), also known as Murchadh an Luachair, lived at one time, as his nickname suggests, in Luachair.
Murdo married Flora Maclennan from Scarp and they had five children. The family lived at Brollum and were moved to 13 Old Orinsay.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family went to live with their son Alexander at 5 Crossbost.
