Margaret Carmichael (1921-2001) was a daughter of John Carmichael and Catherine Campbell, 16 Lemreway. In 1922 the family moved to 3 Orinsay.
Her father died in 1945 and the remaining family moved to Stornoway.
Margaret never married and inherited her maternal grandparents croft at 31 Lemreway.
