52558: Ann Maclennan Matheson
Ann Maclennan Matheson (1905-1995) was a daughter of Norman Matheson and Margaret Macleod, 61 Glebe Street, Bellshill. The family later moved to the family croft at 39 Cliff. She was a Queen's Nurse and trained at Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland. While a district nurse on the Isle of Raasay she lived at 5 Inverarish Terrace and met her future husband.
At Dundee, in 1944, she married Peter Gillies, 33 Inverarish Terrace, Isle of Raasay. Ann and Peter settled at Raassay and they had a son.
