Catherine (born 1868) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Mary Kennedy, Crobeg. Her mother died when Catherine was six months old. The family moved to 5 Garyvard in 1870.
In Lochs, in 1900, she married James Macmillan, 23 Lemreway. Catherine and James settled in Glasgow and later returned to 5 Garyvard. The couple had a son Duncan.
