50670: John Montgomery

John, son of John Montgomery and Christina Macarthur, 35 Balallan married Margaret Smith, 50 Balallan. They had seven children, two of whom died in infancy. The family lived at 50 Balallan until 1886 when they moved back to 35 Balallan, becoming joint tenant of the croft with his father until 1889, when he became the sole tenant.
