50586: Donald Mackay

Donald was married in Hacklete to Margaret nee Macdonald; with issue. According to local tradition he moved to Bernera from Lochs as a shepherd (the family is not on record in Hacklete on the 1819 tenant list but this is probably the Donald Mackay who was in Bosta that year – also his daughter Isabella was registered for baptism in Bosta in 1826).
