Donald, son of John Macaulay and Ann Montgomery, 31 Balallan served with the Seaforth Highlanders during the First World War and aferwards in India. He emigrated to Australia in 1924 with John Macdonald, 38 Balallan and Christina Montgomery, 58 Balallan. Donald served with the Australian Army during the Second World War and was wounded in Crete. He worked on the Australian railways and died as a result of a car accident.
