Donald, born 1885, was a son of Norman and Mary nee Maclennan, 25 Valtos. He emigrated to Winnipeg where he joined the police force (as did his brother Murdanie).
Donald was married to Isabella nee Smith 'Bellag Dhomhnaill a Ghobha', 30 Valtos.
Both Donald and his wife are buried in Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg.
