Lachlan (1815-1892) was a son of Neil and Marion Maclean, Harris and 1 Buanish.
Buanish was cleared in 1826 and the family were removed to 7 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1842 he married Christina Macmillan, 4b Old Lemreway. Lachlan and Christina settled at 10 Crossbost and they had two children.
Lachlan was widowed in 1847 and in 1848 married widow, Ann Martin (nee Mackay), 16 Old Gravir. Lachlan and Ann remained at 10 Crossbost and they had five children.
Lachlan’s brother Donald was married to Ann’s sister Mary.
