48817: Kenneth Mackenzie

Kenneth, who was the son of Alexander Mackenzie and Mary Macleod, Stornoway was the founder of the Harris Tweed mill known as Kenneth Mackenzie & Co Ltd, Stornoway. He set out to build a cooperage but changed his mind and installed carding and spinning machinery in 1909.
