Ann, daughter of Murdo Smith and Christina Mackay, 26 Balallan married Alexander Morrison from Laxdale in Vancouver, Canada. They emigrated to Australia and lived in New South Wales. One child, Alexander Donald, was a Pilot Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force and was killed in action over Germany on 24 December 1944, aged 23 years.
