Donald (born1874) was a son of Malcolm Kennedy and Margaret Mackenzie, 23 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1899, he married Mary Macarthur, of 20 Cromore, the couple were still living in Cromore in 1903 when their daughter, Barbara was born. The family later moved to Stornoway.
Donald was widowed in 1938 and was living at 51 Bayhead Street, Stornoway in 1941 when he married widow, Ann Graham, nee Thomson, 12 James Street, Stornoway.
