Donald George (1913-1995) was a son of John Mackenzie and Christina Macdonald, 5 Hacklete. After his marriage they lived at his family home until 1964, when they moved to 4 Kneep.
In the spring of 1943 Donald George was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) by King George VI.
