John Macleod (born 1884) was a son of Donald and Catherine Macleod, 18 Cromore.
He emigrated to Canada and served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the First World War. His name is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
John returned to Lewis some time later and married Margaret Macleod, 24 Cromore. The couple settled at 18 Cromore and they had a son.
