46072: Margaret Buchanan

Margaret Buchanan was born c1856 in Adelaide, South Australia, the daughter of John Buchanan and Jessie Hamilton. They returned to Scotland and in 1882 Margaret married William Kerr in Stonehaven and went to live in Blackford, Perthshire, and subsequently to Brabster, Reay, Caithness.

In 1896 they moved to Marvig, South Lochs, Lewis, where William was headmaster at Planasker School.

They had at least seven children:
