Rachael (born 1859) was the daughter of John Macinnes and Rachael Macaulay of Lower Bayble.
The family emigrated to Quebec, in 1873, and settled in Whitton township. Rachael married Murdo Macaulay, an emigrant from Kershader, Lochs.
