Donald Macdonald (1865-1936) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Annie Murray of 51 North Tolsta.
Donald married Christina Macdonald, of 38 Tolsta, on the 20th of October 1892. The couple settled at 38 North Tolsta and had eleven children: five girls and six boys.
Their children Catherine and Donald both married into 16 Balallan.
In due course 38 North Tolsta passed to their son, Alexander.
