Margaret Nicolson
Margaret (1808-1881) was a daughter of Norman Nicolson who was a tenant on Vuia Mhor. She married Kenneth Buchanan and lived in Carnish, raising a family of six. In 1851 her widowed father is living with them.
The family emigrated in 1855, around the time Carnish was cleared, to Weedon, Quebec.
Their children were Murdo born 1837; Marion born 1839; Catherine born 1841; Mary Ann born 1841; Norman born 1848 and John born1851.
