Angus (1791-1872) was a son of Donald Macleod and Janet Matheson, 4 Crowlista. He was married to Mary Macdonald, Crowlista. They had six children.

He and his family lived at 4 Crowlista following the lotting of Crowlista in the late 1840's.

Angus was buried in the cemetry at Baile na Cille, his grave is not marked on the interpretive board but it is there, a flat gravestone and marked with his name.
