Donald  (1831-1914) was a son of Angus Macleod and Annabella Macarthur, Orinsay. In 1839 the family moved to 6 Old Lemreway and in 1843 moved to Crobeg.

At Crossbost, in 1855, he married Mary Kennedy, 9 Balallan. Donald and Mary settled at Crobeg and they had seven children.

Donald was widowed in 1868 and married Mary Mackenzie, 12 Crossbost in 1869.

In 1870 Donald was widowed again after only six months of marriage. The family moved to 5 Garyvard.

In Lochs, in 1873, he married for the third time to Annabella Macarthur, 8 Cromore. Donald and Annabella had four children.

Donald was widowed again in 1911.
