Murchadh Mhurchaidh
Murdo (1796-1871) was a, son of Murdo and Catherine Macleod, Eishken.
In Lochs, in 1823, he was living in Lemreway when he married Ann Montgomery, 36 Balallan. Murdo and Ann settled at 12 Old Eishken as Cottars and where they had three of their four children.
Old Eishken was cleared in 1835 and the family moved to 12 Balallan.
In the early 1850's Murdo and Alexander Montgomery exchanged crofts and the family moved to 7 Balallan.
